PULIYOGARE MIX RECIPE
Puliyogare is one of the traditional South Indian dish that is prepared during festivals as prasadm. If rice is cooked, preparation takes a jiffy. This tangy and spicy dish it’s an all-time favourite.
PULIYOGARE INGREDIENTS:
- Dal – 2 tsp
- Oil - 2 ½ tsp
- Peanuts- 2 tbsp
- Cashewnuts – 10 nos
- Sona Masuri Rice ( cooked)- 600 gms
- Curry leaves- 5-6
- Salt- 1 tsp
- Sharabeshwara foods Puliogare Mix- half tbsp
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:
- Heat 2 1/2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a kadai
- Once the oil is hot, add Dhal, Peanuts, Cashew Nuts (these are optional) and few curry leaves. Allow them to splutter.
- Add half a tablespoon of Sharabeshwara foods Puliogare Mix.
- Stir for 2-3 minutes on a low flame.
- Add Cashew Nuts.
- Add Curry Leaves and fried Peanuts.
- Add salt to taste.
- Add 600g of Cooked rice and mix thoroughly. Use hands to mix evenly.
Keep aside for 30 mins and serve with papad or buttermilk/curd. Tastes best when served hot too.
